Küresel pandemi ve sosyal sorumluluklarımız,
Bilimsel bilgi ve eğitim imkanlarından yoksun bırakılan kalabalık topluluklar, ekonomik eşitsizlikler ve gelir dağılımındaki dengesizliklerin sonucunda kendilerine sunulan sunguların peşinden sürüklenerek, kime ve kimlere hizmet ettiklerinin ayırdına varmadan bu çarkın dişlileri olmaya devam ediyorlar. 21. yüzyılın eşiğinde bir yanda baş döndürücü bir teknolojinin içinde yaşarken, güç kaynakları bu teknolojiyi de egemenliklerinin aracına dönüştürmekten geri durmuyorlar.
Bu satırları yazarken bundan 40 yıl önce okuduğum ve beni gelecek konusunda daha o günlerde tedirgin eden bir kitap gözümün önüne geliyor. George Orwel’in 1984 adlı romanı. Çevremdeki pek çok yazar ve gazeteci arkadaşım, entelektüel çevreler, kitapta geçen hikayenin Sovyet totaliter toplumunu anlattığını savlıyorlardı, Big brother ve proleterya sözcüklerinin çokça geçmesi o günün KGB’sini anımsatıyordu. Oysa 40 yılda bilim ve teknoloji dünyasının geldiği noktada Sovyetler birliği yıkıldı teknolojinin merkezleri Sovyetler değil, o günlerde adı duyulmayan aktörler oldu. Tüm dünyayı çılgın bir teknoloji tüketimi sardı, yılda 3-4 versiyonuyla ürün gamları yenileniyordu. Ne ekoloji ,ne doğa, ne tarım ne de küresel tehlikeler, duyarlı bir azınlık dışında çoğu insanı ilgilendirmiyordu. Hala da bu vurdum duymazlık sürüyor. Sonra beklenmedik bir epidemi Çin sınırlarını aşıp da tüm dünyaya yayılınca insanlar aylarca evlerine hapsolup alışkanlıklarının ve sosyal hayatlarının ne denli önemli olduğunun ayırdına vardılar. İşyerleri kapalı, ekonomi dünyası tarumar, para finans ve borsadan başka bir şey düşünmeyen zengin ülkelerin sağlık sistemleri çökmüş durumda. Petrol fiyatları tarihinin en düşük noktasına düşmüş, petrol depoları kimse araba kullanmadığından ağzına kadar dolu. Amerikan kaya petrol tesisleri komple iflasın eşiğinde. Kısacası COVID19 sonrası artık yeni bir süreç başlıyor, Toplumsal davranış kalıplarımızın da dinsel ve geleneksel demeksizin değişeceği yeni bir sürece giriyoruz. Pandemi öncesi ve sonrası hayat.
Şimdi oldukça zor bir hayat bizleri ve tüm insanlığı bekliyor. Şayet bilim çevreleri bunun çaresini bulamazsa bir yerlerimize tüm kişisel bilgilerimizin ve sağlık hikayelerimizin işlendiği birer çip yerleştirecekler ve tüm restaurant, cafe , alışveriş merkezleri ile toplu taşımalarda pozitif hikayesi olanlara ayrı yerler tahsis edilecek, ayrı restaurantlar metroda ayrı bölümler vs ile karşılaşırsak hiç şaşırmayalım. Bill Gates şimdiden bu chip’ler üzerinde çalışıyor. Ama dilerim o günleri yaşamayız yoksa yatak odasında dahi izlenir olacağız, özel hayatın mahremiyetine de eyvallah o zaman.
Dergimizin bu sayısında dünyada ve ülkemizde tarihsel süreç içinde ortaya çıkan küresel salgınları inceledik. Bu dosyada önemli bilgiler bulacaksınız. Tüm bunların sonucunda bilime güvenmekten başka insanlığın tutunacak bir dalı olmadığını da görüyoruz. Bu yüzyılda gözümüz ve kulağımız ekranlarda, haber kaynaklarında bir an önce bu virüs’ün aşısını veya ilacını bulacak kahraman sağlık emekçisini, bilim insanlarını bekliyoruz. Şimdiden Nobel’in kesin kahramanı belli. Bu panzehir bulunmadıkça da insanlığa rahat yok. Kirlettiğimiz doğa intikamını misliyle alıyor. Şimdi yapılması gereken en önemli şeylerden biri de bireysel hayatımızın toplumsal yaşamın ve ilişkilerinin bir parçası olduğunu düşünerek, virüsün kimde olduğunu kimin taşıyıcı olduğunu bilmediğimiz bir dönemde, vicdani sorumluluklarımızla evde kalmak ve uzmanların önerilerine eksiksiz uymak olmalıdır. Salgının yayılarak büyümesinin yaratacağı insani ve ekonomik kayıplar bir ay evden çıkmamaktan misliyle büyük olacaktır.
Bu bir seferberliktir. İnsanlarımız topyekun yasalara ve uygulamalara riayet ederse, devlet ve ilgili kurumlar da bunun ekonomik yaralarını sararsa, işletmelerin uğrayabileceği kayıpları karşılarsa biz bu felaketin üstesinden gelebiliriz. Bunun için tüm kesimlerin güven verici açıklamalara ihtiyacı var. Şu ana kadar verilen destekler sürmeli, üretim yapan işletmelerin ayakta kalmaları sağlanmalıdır. Pandeminin daha ne kadar süreceğini bilmediğimiz, 2020 yılında çalışmayan, üretimi durmuş , iflas etmiş işletmelerin vergilerine de adil bir çözüm bulunmalıdır.
Bir diğer önemli dosyamız ise bu zorlu günlerde mobilya sektörünün içinde bulunduğumuz durumu sektör temsilcilerine, sekörü oluşturan karar vericilere meslek örgütü ve dernek başkanlarına sorduk. Satışların durma noktasında, üretimin ise vasat düzeyde olduğu bu günlerde beklentileri sizlerle paylaşıyoruz.
Tüm insanlığın bu küresel salgını bir an önce atlatması dileğiyle sağlık ve umut diliyorum.

He understood how awful and dangerous the war was. However, the powers that ruled the money and the world did not learn enough lessons from these disasters, and their money and power ambitions did not prevent the countries and people from falling into each other in many parts of the world. The crowded communities, deprived of scientific knowledge and educational opportunities, continue to be the gears of this wheel, drifting after the presentations presented to them as a result of economic inequalities and inequalities in income distribution, and without realizing who and whom they serve. While living in a dazzling technology on the verge of the 21st century, power supplies do not hesitate to turn this technology into a tool of their sovereignty.
While writing these lines, I think of a book that I read 40 years ago and that made me worried about the future. George Orwel's novel, 1984. Many of my friends and journalist friends around me, the intellectual circles, argued that the story in the book tells the Soviet totalitarian society, that the words Big Brother and the proletariat were reminiscent of that day's KGB. However, at the point where the world of science and technology came in 40 years, the Soviet Union collapsed and the centers of technology were not Soviets, but actors that were not known in those days. Crazy technology consumption has swept the whole world, product ranges were renewed with 3-4 versions per year. Neither ecology, nature, agriculture nor global hazards concern most people, except for a sensitive minority. Still, I have heard that this continues to ignore.Then, when an unexpected epidemic crossed the Chinese borders and spread all over the world, people were imprisoned in their homes for months and realized how important their habits and social life were. The workplaces are closed, the world of economy is booming, and the health systems of rich countries, which do not think of anything other than money finance and the stock market, have collapsed. Oil prices have fallen to their lowest point in history, oil tanks are full to the brim as nobody drives. American rock oil facilities are on the verge of complete bankruptcy. In short, a new process begins after COVID19, we are entering a new process where our social behavior patterns will change without saying religious and traditional. Life before and after a pandemic. Now a very difficult life awaits us and all humanity. If the scientific community cannot find a solution to this, we will place a chip in our places where all of our personal information and health stories are processed, and we will be surprised if we find different places in all restaurants, cafes, shopping centers and those who have a positive story in public transport, if we come across separate restaurants, subway sections, etc. Bill Gates is already working on these chips. But I hope we don't live those days or we will be watched even in the bedroom, thank you for the privacy of private life then.
In this issue of our magazine, we examined global outbreaks occurring in the historical process in the world and in our country. You will find important information in this file. As a result of all this, we see that humanity has no branch to hold on, other than trusting science. In this century, our eyes and ears are waiting for hero health worker, scientists, who will find the vaccine or medicine of this virus as soon as possible on the screens and news sources. The exact hero of Nobel is already clear. Unless this antidote is found, humanity is not comfortable. He takes the revenge of nature as we pollute. One of the most important things to do now is thinking that our individual life is part of social life and relationships, at a time when we don't know who has the virus and who is the carrier,to stay at home with our conscientious responsibilities and to follow the experts' recommendations. The human and economic losses caused by the spread of the epidemic will be as great as not leaving home for a month.
This is a mobilization. We can overcome this disaster if our people comply with all laws and practices, if the state and related institutions encompass the economic wounds of this, and the losses that businesses can suffer. For this, all segments need reassuring explanations. Supports provided so far should continue, and production companies should survive. A fair solution should also be found in the taxes of the pandemic companies, which we do not know how long they will continue, which did not work in 2020, stopped production and went bankrupt.
Another important file is that we asked the sector representatives, the decision makers who make up the sector and the heads of professional organizations and associations in these challenging days. We share the expectations with you in these days when sales are at a halt and production is at a moderate level.
